Raychem - The Challenger is one of the world's
most advanced main battle tanks complete with ceramic armour and
a variety of expensive technological marvels. But it all has to
work through cables and connectors, which is where Raychem comes
in. Raychem use AutoMegs to test complex multi-branch cable harnesses
to MVEE-773 specification. Raychem's seven sub-contractors also
use AutoMegs to provide fully detailed test reports to verify conformance
to specification.
Messier Dowty Ltd - "We chose the AutoMeg
Test system for the final inspection of A330 and A340 Airbus landing
gear, to carry out insulation tests between isolated electrical
circuits to meet the requirements of the specification ADB-0007."
Few would argue that Formula 1 Grand Prix motor
sport presents the greatest challenge to an electrical system designer.
MK has supplied seventeen systems to the worlds leading teams to
verify the integrity of racing car electrical systems.
Amphenol - "We are very satisfied with the
AutoMeg Test System and MK's superb service and support."
Molins Tobacco Machinery who are world leaders
in high speed cigarette making equipment, state that over 50% of
the 5.4 trillion cigarettes made each year are produced on their
machines. Molins use three AutoMegs to auto-test continuity and
insulation resistance in the internal wiring looms within each machine.
MBM Technology Ltd - "We use six AutoMegs
within our main cable assembly area, with a throughput of over 5000
harnesses per week."
An AutoMeg with over 19,400 test points is one of the largest high
voltage cable testers ever made in the UK, and was supplied to Matra
Marconi Space Systems to test the ST-1 satellite.
Miles Roystone/Glenair International - "We
operate 13 AutoMeg test systems on our full range of micro-connectors
and cable assemblies, for use in aerospace and defence applications.
They provide us and our customer with tangible evidence of our commitment
to Quality Conformance."
Prodrive, the force behind the Subaru World Rally
Team, can now undertake more thorough testing of the electronic
circuitry on rally cars - and in a fraction of the time using a
fully automated continuity and insulation test system from MK Test
Systems. In an area where some of the most advanced electronics
are exposed to the worst environmental conditions, rally car designers
and manufacturers need a suitable sophisticated testing system for
optimum reliability.
Martin Baker Aircraft Company Ltd - "We use
the AutoMeg Test System to verify the integrity of all electrical
wiring/assemblies on our Ejector Seats."
MK Test Systems is at the leading edge of high
specification cable testing equipment and have produced high voltage
testers up to 125,000 Volts and continuity testers up to 250 Amps.
VA Tech Reyrolle Ltd - "We use 3 AutoMeg
Test Systems to verify the integrity of the electrical insulation
of up to 2000 wires at once, used in power station/sub station protection
and control equipment."
