MK Software
The backbone of the whole MK range is the PC based software control. MK has set new standards with its simple to use, yet powerful, menu driven software. Test files for even the most complex harness systems are created with ease, manually, via an Auto Learn facility, or by using one of a variety of Auto Programme Generation (APG) facilities.
MK have pioneered the ability to auto create test programmes for the most complex of harnesses, even when the UUT includes “active” components such as relays and switches. This is achieved using a combination of design data CSV files and component libraries. MK Test Systems are able to create custom import & translation software (which will be a derivative of one of the many similar packages we have previously installed) to allow automatic programme creation using the existing data from the customers’ database structures.
The MK software can be loaded onto further remote workstations to allow the creation and manipulation of test programmes, away from the tester. A powerful feature of the software is the Simulator facility which allows the user to run the test programmes under simulated conditions to allow a realistic appraisal of the test programme prior to actually connecting to the Aircraft / Assembly / Harness.
Each level of the software is password protected.
Reports can be configured through the MK software to allow as much or as little information to be reported as required. All test result data is automatically backed up to a data log for future reference. Test reports can be archived to a destination of the programmers choice.
Failure messages can be delivered as worded report and as graphics. The MK software lends itself ideally to the use of photographs and graphical instructions both to instruct the operator on how to test, and to direct the operator to a point of failure.
