Function Testing.
The MK system offers a range of different Stimulus Switching Options, or EEM (external Excitation Modules). These EEMs are used to automatically switch a stimulus source out to active components in the UUT, while the measurement cards simultaneously test the reaction to that stimulation. For example, the EEM is used to charge a coil of a relay, while the test points measure the resistance across the contacts of the relay, and the time taken to achieve the required resistance.
The EEM cards are available in various formats.
EEMC5 – a 5A rated changeover contact with 16 points per EEM card.
EEMD12 – a 12A rated dual bus module, with 32 points per bus, 64 points total per card.
M1500 MSwitch – a Multi-bus system whereby stimulus can be delivered through every test point on the system, offering total flexibility of interfacing. Ideal for UUT with a high density of active component.
