01 Is the AutoMeg control software available in different languages? AutoMeg has multiple language support and MK Test are continually adding
new languages to its portfolio. This feature can quickly increase the
introduction of a new system to operators as they can easily follow the
instructions in their own native language. To see if your local language is

02 Can the AutoMeg be calibrated by the end user? Yes, it is possible for the end user to calibrate the AutoMeg. Each
system is supplied with a calibration adapter and the user can follow the
instructions provided in conjunction with a calibrated multi-meter to
calibrate the AutoMeg. Alternatively, MK Test can provide the calibration
service and this would normally be included in a support and maintenance
contract.

03 Can the AutoMeg measure capacitance and inductance? Yes, the AutoMeg is capable of measuring both capacitance and inductance
using the LCR Meter Option. Please refer to the product page for the LCR
Meter Option.

04 Does the AutoMeg control software archive test results? Yes, with the Archive option enabled in the control software, all test
results will be archived to the specified location, i.e. local hard drive of
the AutoMeg PC.

05 Can our current DOS based AutoMeg be upgraded to the latest Windows version of AutoMeg? Most DOS based AutoMeg systems can be upgraded to support the current
Windows based AutoMeg software. For further details and a quotation

06 Do all the test programs have to written on the AutoMeg PC? No, test programs can be created remotely on a separate PC and
downloaded or copied onto the AutoMeg PC for operational use. This allows
programs to be designed and written while the AutoMeg is in use.

07 What security features does the AutoMeg software provide? The AutoMeg control software is protected by multiple levels of username
and password access. It is possible to restrict the operational and
configuration options for individual users.

08 What information do I need to supply for an AutoMeg system quotation? The following information forms the basic details required in order to
provide outline quotations. a) Your application - i.e. what will you be
testing?, b) Accuracy of continuity measurement required - i.e. 2 or 4 wire
measurement, c) Number of tests points required, d) Insulation test - i.e.
maximum voltage to be applied, e) Other options - i.e. Hi-Pot testing, EEM,
LCR.

09 Does the AutoMeg system have the ability to communicate with other external equipment? Yes, AutoMeg has a data input option within the control software that
allows communication and handshaking to be carried out with other external
equipment.

10 Do MK Test System provide training courses for the AutoMeg systems and software? Yes, MK has an extensive range of training options available. These
include training at the MK facility or at your own location. Courses can be
tailored to suit your specific requirements to ensure you can maximise your
investment in the technology.
