Distance to Fault.
Once an Open circuit or Short circuit has been detected in a harness, the next stage of analysis and repair is to locate the position along the harness where the fault has occurred. MK offer a module that will indicate the actual position of the fault. Using Capacitance and Resistance comparator methods, this tool removes the chances of the operator “guessing” incorrectly and removing the wrong backshells or heat-shrink boots when trying to “find” the fault location.
